First ballet lesson, some questions?

Hi, I'm sixteen and I'm starting ballet next week. I'm starting at the same time as my friend, who is starting street dance. I have a few questions about it though.
What shall I wear to my first lesson?
What shall I expect?
How long will it take to go en pointe? (I've not done ballet previously, but I am tall and thin if that helps? Plus I'm very dedicated and will probably practise every day)
Any tips? What shall I take with me?

I was thinking about wearing some black leggings and a tight white camisole top? Is that okay? I dont have a leotard or anything yet
